Reminiscences of Sexual Health Nursing in the Twentieth Century
Madelaine Ward is the Chair/President of The Middlesex Hospital Nurses Benevolent Fund and has written a fascinating book entitled: Nursing Tales: Personal Reminiscences of Sexual Health Nursing in the Twentieth Century. Maddy describes her book as a “light-hearted approach” to the history of the ever-changing context of our sexual health services. It is, however, much more than a light-hearted book. Interspersed with humour, Maddy has drawn upon her knowledge of the personal, political, cultural and economic facets that have influenced the health services over the past fifty or sixty years.
If you wish to purchase her book please contact Maddy Ward below.
